Tool Battery Camera Converter | Build With Me
Grab a hot drink and join me in building this Ryobi tool battery converter for my camera rig!
This is my alternative to the more traditional V-mount power solution. In addition to just being a fun and interesting challenge, this solution is more affordable and convenient for an existing owner of a large collection of tool batteries.
There are 3 buck (DC to DC) converters inside the assembly, all wired in parallel to the 18V tool battery and supplying voltages of 7.3V, 12V and 9V. Equipment can be connected to this device via the DC barrel jacks. along the side The chassis was designed and printed using Fusion 360.

    Is anybody can help me? I tried flex delivery. I registered i choose the postal office and got my po box address. My delivery guy got confused with the po box address. So i end up delivered at my home address (good thing im off for a week). My question is it possible that because both the po box and the pick up address have different postal codes that shows the PO box postal code gives the wrong location? What should i do? I kinda doubting of using the flexdelivery and use my friend's address...

    Not bad. I recently built a touchscreen digital dashboard using the new Raspberry Pi 5 and it adds a lot more functionality. For instance, if I want to adjust my calendar or add a new event I can just add it at the dashboard instead of having to use my phone. I can also use my dashboard like home jukebox of sort simply with the spotify app. Maybe the best part is that I am not stuck with the single screen display. Like a tablet or phone, I can swipe left or right to reveal more screens. I am not as skilled at making videos as you are but I did make a quick video to show how it works. Let me know what you think...............ruclips.net/video/oMGnhztAX2I/видео.htmlsi=itiA81z7RfGdHsRC

    Hi I just came across by accident on your video. I have a channel and I have people wanting to send me stuff but I can’t give my address. Also get worried of what I get. Is ups and Canada post P.O. Box’s the same? Is there extra inspection? It’s a monthly fee ? Assuming I can stop it anytime eh? Thank you 😊

    • @CKTDanny
      @CKTDanny 7 месяцев назад

      @@segagirladventurespico Haha I'm glad this is helping! I picked a location that isn't too far; Vancouver is a pretty busy place and so is my location; I am not there super frequently and my visits are brief so I don't have many worries about my personal safety. This is also where I receive my eBay packages which makes the convenience worth it to me. I do realize that there is a safety risk so I don't make my address too easily accessible to everyone. The fact of the matter is, if someone is *really* set on finding me, a town over will probably not stop them. The PO box is good for privacy but it won't solve a real stalker threat; that would be a police matter at that point. I'm not sure if that's what you want to hear but I think it helps knowing that you can only do your best. A stalker can also find me at the grocery store or anywhere else so I try not to worry about the PO box too much! I suppose if you *really* want to decrease your exposure, you can look for someone else to pick up the items for you. I think that'd be pretty smart if you're particularly conscious about it! I do think getting it for a shorter term is a good way to start off. That sounds like a good plan and you can renew it if you end up liking it. I went in with similar thoughts and that was maybe 5+ years ago. I'm still with the same office! 😌

    I found you while searching for calendar display. I enjoyed the video on that and I really like how you created the display and layout. I decided to search your channel and I am looking to getting onto editing some video content, for my kids and myself. Currently, I edit photos for my businesses and I use Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, both available with the photography plan (2023), so I am familiar with their ecosystem. I don't want to invest in Premier Pro at this time since I would like to get used to editing first and not waste money. With 3 kids I have to watch where I am spending my money. Hitfilm intrigues me since you mentioned that it's interface is similar to Premiere Pro. Eventually when I sharpen my skills with editing I would invest in PP. That being said, since this video is from 2018, would you still recommend Hitfilm or something different?

    • @CKTDanny
      @CKTDanny 8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for commenting! Although I haven't used it in a long time, I still think Hitfilm is a solid option. However, DaVinci Resolve is now free and it's very capable; you could stay in their ecosystem rather than upgrading to a different platform later if you decide to go that route. I'd suggest skimming through some tutorials on both Hitfilm & Resolve and maybe trying them out to see which one you like better. Once you have a good understanding of the basics of editing (slice, move, etc..), the editor seems like less of a consideration. I've been jumping around editors these few years and I don't think I mind not having a "home" editor! :)

Otherwise, it held up quite nicely; pretty low maintenance after you get it running well. Good luck with the build, and please be careful! :)

    • @CKTDanny
      @CKTDanny Год назад

      @@jeesookim2561 I actually didn't do much in modifying the positions of the existing modules! The new modules are sort of just placed in the recommended positions, you can see everything here: github.com/41Danny1/KitchenDashConfig/blob/main/config.js For the modules that I custom installed, you can just Google them (e.g. MMM-Wallpaper) and find their repositories that way; they all have simple instructions on how to install them, as well as their recommended configurations. The weather modules I have in that config file are no longer in service, I believe - so pay no attention to those. And the ones I stopped using are MMM-AVStock, MMM-Bring, and MMM-Screencast. Screencast is the one responsible for YT mirroring but I didn't have great performance on my Pi (maybe it's gotten better since?) MMM-Wallpaper is for the wallpapers and MMM-WiFi is for the QR. Finally; though I haven't used it myself, I believe MMM-GoogleAssistant should get you the Google Assistant on the mirror. Sorry it's a lot to read...I hope it helps! 😄
